12 Days of Christmas: Dog World Rescue

12 Days of Christmas - Pet Peeps

It’s the sixth day of the 12 days of Christmas!

Now that you’ve exchanged gifts with family and friends and are basking in the afterglow of the holiday season, why not play Santa to a very deserving DC area shelter or animal rescue league? Please, keep the spirit of giving going by donating goods or cash to help with their wonderful work saving and bettering the lives of homeless, abused and abandoned animals.

We’d like to introduce you to Dog World Rescue, servicing VA, MD & DC. You may recognize Dog World Rescue from our weekly Shelter Sunday features.

Dog World Rescue

About Dog World Rescue: Dog World Rescue is a non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization that provides pet adoption in Virginia, Maryland and Washington DC.
Dog World Rescue’s mission is to find permanent loving and nurturing homes in the Washington DC metropolitan area for dogs. Dog World Rescue supports a proactive spay and neuter program to reduce the number of homeless animals in shelters who through no fault of their own would have been euthanized. They advocate for the humane treatment of all animals and provide educational resources for rehabilitating dogs. Most of all, Dog World Rescue encourages and supports responsible pet ownership through community support and education.

Dog World Rescue needs the following donations:

  • Leashes
